The Shining Hearts Custom Audio and Sounds
Sounds referencing various things, such as the Ardanian Soldiers from XB2, SAM from HSR, GameGrumps, JonTron, Markiplier, and other wacky nonsense.
About this mod Author’s original text
The Shining Hearts (Custom Audio and Sounds) v1.0.6
Exactly what it says on the tin. Everything is in its appropriate folder. This is my first time uploading on this site so surely there will be an oopsie-doopsie, but we'll see how that pans out
None of the mods used in this pack are my own. Maybe one or two elements are purely inside-jokes, but everything else is a copyright of some kind. For those who are curious about the nature of the custom sounds in this pack, I can confirm the following:
- The Nutcracker makes references to Captain Padraig and the Ardanian Soldiers from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (with Battle music!)
- The Old Bird is voiced by SAM/Firefly from Honkai: Star Rail
- The Thumper, Spore Lizard, and Lightning make references to Egoraptor
- The Bracken makes references to Dan Avidan, though the Bracken's sounds are less varied
- The Baboon Hawks and Sapsucker have various JonTron soundclips
- And the fully custom scrap NeedyCats make references to "Meowkiplier" from, you guessed it, Markiplier
I might have missed a few things...
Instructions
- Place contents in bepinex/plugins folder. Ensure that all dependencies are downloaded. Really, there's no reason not to know what to do given this won't be the first mod you download.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
