Terminal History
Adds the ability to cycle through recent terminal commands with rebindable keys.
Also adds a command that shows history.
This mod is functionally very similar to this mod by NotAtomicBomb.
I thought up the idea before realizing this, but decided to go through with making it for practice at least.
Thanks for making the awesome TerminalApi, it simplified a lot of the process for getting into modding for Lethal Company!
Installation
Manual
- Install all dependencies listed page.
- Just drop TerminalHistory.dll into \BepInEx\plugins.
Mod Manager
- I used r2modman. Install this.
- On the TerminalHistory mod page, click Install with Mod Manager.
Features
- Click through recently sent commands in the terminal. (By default with up-arrow and down-arrow)
- Rebind keys in the settings.
- Show most recent commands by typing show history or just history.
- history command shows up with a description upon entering other command.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
