SnatchinBrackenFORK
Fork of the SnatchinBracken updated by Xan3000.
About this mod Author’s original text
SnatchinBracken
SnatchinBracken modifies the behavior of Bracken enemies. Instead of instantly killing players on contact, Brackens now capture and drag players to a designated "favorite spot." This change allows teammates a chance to intervene and rescue the captured player.

Changelog
2.0.4 FORK BY XAN3000
- [Fix] Fixed an issue where sometimes the Bracken would make you drop your items but not actually drag you, then kill you from across the map a few seconds later.
- [Feature] Added "Snatch floating head" config (default: off) — if you want the Floating Head from Wesley's Enemies to use the SnatchinBracken's drag behaviour instead of its vanilla kill you can toggle this on. (The issues from before should be solved too with the fix above, but leaving this just in case you just don't want the head to drag you around lol).
2.0.3 FORK BY XAN3000
- [Compatibility Fix] Added "compatibility" with Wesleys Ememy Variants (Made it so the Floating Head enemy from there will work just like vanilla Bracken and WON'T capture/drag you around, made it this way because letting the mod make the Floating Head drag you too results in glitchy behaviour half of the time, this due animations working differently, might make it an optional setting though I really don't recommend to let the head try snatch you).
2.0.2 FORK BY XAN3000 (thankyou xan, we love u)
- [Fix] Runtime_Netcode_Patcher by Ozone was removed from the Dependencies and is no longer needed, remove it manually if it causes issues with your modpack.
2.0.1 FORK BY XAN3000 (thankyou xan, we love u)
- [Fix] Correction with the version needed of BepInExPack, changed to v5.4.2305
2.0.0 FORK BY XAN3000 (thankyou xan, we love u)
- [Fix] This is a continuation of the mod for v80, fork from the original mod by @readthisifbad in the version 1.5.4... if the original autor update the mod this will be deleted.
1.5.4 (1.5.3 was broken)
- [Fix] Removed the Runtime Netcode Patcher mod dependency. RPCs are now patched at build time with NetcodePatcher, so SnatchinBracken no longer depends on Ozone-Runtime_Netcode_Patcher.
- [Update] Rebuilt against the current game version.
1.5.2
- [Update] v73 support.
1.5.1
- [Update] Change method parameters for the farthest tile, v62 support.
1.4.9 & 1.5.0
- [Bug Fix] Fix MoreCompany compatibility.
1.4.8

1.4.6
- [Bug Fix] v50 & 49 compatibility.
- [Regression] Removed power level since this field has been moved in v50, will add back when v50 is in release.
1.4.5
- [Bug Fix] Toggle Auto Kill Stuck option with config, this already existed but wasn't implemented properly.
- [Feature] Toggle Auto Kill on time based.
- [Feature] Toggle Auto Kill on distance from favorite location.
- [Note] I wouldn't leave all of three toggled off, players can potentially get stuck if they're the last player left. If you're disabling all three of these, enable the insta kill option for the last player.
- [Known Issue] Occasionally the Bracken moves incredibly slow, it seems to be about a 10% chance of this happening.
1.4.4
- [Bug Fix] No Lethal Config reference in main class.
1.4.3
- [Feature] Bracken Power Level config option.
- [Bug Fix] Gradual damage coroutine end after player is killed by other means outside of the Bracken.

- [QOL] Refactor reused l
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
