About this mod Author’s original text

Ship Computer Assistant

Ship Computer Assistant expands the vanilla Lethal Company terminal with a crew-monitoring system.

Features

  • Now available for purchase from the ship terminal is a new command to see how your teamates are doing.
  • Displays current information for connected employees:
  • Name
  • Alive or deceased status
  • Health
  • General location
  • Carried weight
  • Currently held item

Commands

crew

Displays the current status of all connected employees.

The command requires Crew Monitoring Software to be installed.

crew upgrade

Displays information about Crew Monitoring Software and begins the purchase process.

Use:

  • confirm to complete the purchase
  • deny to cancel the purchase

Installation

Mod Manager

Install through Mod Manager or r2modman.

Manual Installation

  • Install BepInEx for Lethal Company.
  • Place ShipComputerAssistant.dll inside:

BepInEx/plugins/ShipComputerAssistant/

  • Launch the game.

Multiplayer

For the best experience, install the mod for every player who should be able to use and view the custom terminal command.

Players without the mod will not see the custom command or its terminal pages.

Version 1.0.0 Notes

This is the first public release.

The current upgrade state is session-based. It may reset when the game is restarted and may not yet behave like a fully synchronized vanilla unlockable across every multiplayer client. This means having the item unlocked in one save will carry to any other save until a game restart. I will fix this soon as it is not the true intention.

Compatibility

Ship Computer Assistant patches the vanilla terminal directly.

Dependencies

  • BepInExPack
  • StaticNetcodeLib
  • OdinSerializer

Issues

When reporting a problem, include:

  • The BepInEx console error
  • The game version
  • Whether you were host or client
  • Whether the lobby was LAN or online
  • Your installed mod list

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
