ScaledFallDamage (v81 rebuild)
⚠️ Unofficial rebuild for Lethal Company v81, maintained by Cpt.Dristyler.
Not affiliated with or endorsed by the original author. Install this instead of the
original, not alongside it.
Fall damage scales with the weight you are carrying — heavier loadouts take damage from
shorter falls. The damage check runs only on landing (not in Update), so it stays
lightweight. Push Force / Range / Cost / threshold are configurable.
This rebuild (1.0.6) — by Cpt.Dristyler
- Fixed the multiplayer config-sync crash on v81. The synced Config held BepInEx
ConfigEntry fields, which are not [Serializable]; BinaryFormatter threw a
SerializationException, SerializeToBytes returned null, and the host's
OnRequestSync then hit a NullReferenceException on every client join (config never
synced + error spam). The ConfigEntry fields are now [NonSerialized]; plain value
mirrors are synced instead, and gameplay reads those mirrors. Host config now syncs to
all clients automatically.
- Recompiled from a decompiled source against current LethalCompany.GameLibs.Steam
(game v81). The plugin GUID windblownleaves.scaledfalldamage is unchanged — existing
config files stay compatible.

Dependencies
- BepInEx 5.4.2100
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
