No More Control Company
Overview
This BepInEx mod enhances the multiplayer experience of games by providing a simple yet effective way to identify lobbies that are utilizing the Control Company mod. With this mod installed, players can easily distinguish Control Company-enabled lobbies from others in the server list, and receive in-game notifications upon joining a lobby to know whether the host is using Control Company or not.
Features
- Lobby Indicator: Automatically adds [CC] tag to the lobby name in the server list if Control Company mod is detected.
- In-game Notification: Upon joining a lobby, you are promptly notified whether the host is using Control Company or not.
Installation
- Prerequisites: Ensure that you have BepInEx installed for your game. You can download BepInEx from its official repository.
- Download: Download the latest release of the BepInEx Control Company Lobby Indicator mod from here.
- Installation: Extract the contents of the downloaded zip file into the BepInEx/plugins folder within your game directory.
- Launch the Game: Start the game as usual. The mod should now be active and functioning.
Usage
- Server List: In the server list, lobbies using Control Company will be marked with [CC] next to their name, making them easily identifiable.
- In-game Notification: Upon joining a lobby, you will receive a notification informing you whether the host is using Control Company or not.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
