About this mod Author’s original text

LETHALSPICE

This modpack is built to make Lethal Company feel smoother, more polished, and a lot more fun without completely changing what makes the game great. It adds a mix of essential libraries, quality-of-life upgrades, and tons of fixes that make everything run better, especially in multiplayer.

A lot of the focus is on making the game less buggy and more reliable. Things like desync issues, AI weirdness, and random glitches are cleaned up, so you can actually focus on playing instead of dealing with problems. The UI and terminal are also improved, making it easier to manage your runs and interact with the game.

On top of that, there are small gameplay improvements that really add up—better scanning, smoother controls, improved spectating, and more useful tools while exploring. The atmosphere gets a boost too, with enhanced sounds, ambience, and little details that make everything feel more immersive.

There are also tweaks to enemies, items, and general gameplay balance to make things feel fairer and more enjoyable, whether you’re playing solo or with friends. Nothing feels over-the-top—it just feels like how the game should play.

Overall, this modpack keeps the original chaotic co-op horror vibe, but makes it cleaner, more stable, and way more enjoyable to play.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
