About this mod Author’s original text

Lethal RTD

This mod was made for people who enjoy hosting public lobbies, especially larger ones. Utilizing only the in-game chat, players in your lobbies will be able to roll the dice to trigger all sorts of wacky, random events while on a moon.

Includes a config file for extensive customization of the different features of the mod, listed below. No one else needs to have the mod downloaded to join the lobby or interact with the system!

Features

  • 41 different events (see config file for full list of events + descriptions!)
  • Round-based Economy to justify rolling limits (customizable)
  • Full list of event weights for adjusting the frequency of (or disabling) every event included, also in the config file.
  • Host can force any event, on any target, at any* time! Use "/forceevent [eventname] [playerusername]"

*Improper usage can produce unwanted behavior, eg. trying to spawn an enemy in orbit

A chat extended mod, such as taffyko's Nice Chat, is recommended.

`Installation`

  • Install BepinEx.
  • Place plugins/LCRollTheDice.dll in your BepInEx/plugins folder.
  • Place config/Mechanicus.LCRollTheDice.cfg in your BepInEx/config folder.
  • Done! Only you, the host, need to have the mod installed!

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Dependencies

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
