Team Akuma Modpack

Fuck you.

HOST INFO (Brutal Company)

You can enable / disable "Brutal Company Plus" before launching the game if you wish. Players that join will have their mod disabled if you choose not to play with it enabled.

Brutal Company adds many things, such as credits once you land, (to make it a bit easier to get basics like walkie/flashlight) added enimies on every moon, (rather than it being sporatic depending on which moon you are on) and custom events such as "Oops, all landmines!" which makes landmines much more prevalent. It's meant to make the game a bit more fun rather than scary - but I get how it can be a bit much.

Ship Upgrades

  • Spectating can be done on the screen next to the radar up at the front of the ship.
  • Scanning loot on the ship will show the total value on the ship compared to the value of items scanned.
  • Credits will now roll-over to the next quota - no more needing to hoard loot.

Monster Upgrades

  • The Bracken is now Freddy Fazbear
  • Monsters can escape the confines of the facility. They can go outside.
  • Hoarding bugs can occasionally use the item they pick up. ie, honk horns, press airhorns, etc.
  • Monsters can copy your friends voices and repeat them back as if they are them. This can trick or make you more observant to their location.
  • Mimics have been added - they look like Fire Exits.
  • Coilheads now slowly look at you, even if you are looking at them.
  • (Version 1.0.2) Hoarding bugs now go "Yippee!!" randomly.

Teleporter Updates

  • Allows teleporting in with certain items: Key, Flashlight, Walkie, and Radar Boosters.
  • Allows teleporting out with certain items: Key, Flashlight, and Walkie.
  • Any charged item loses 50% of its charge with a teleport.

All of these settings can be adjusted in the config of the host. (BetterTeleporter)

Terminal Upgrades

  • You can buy a shotgun with 700 credits and shells for 20(?)
  • Scanning can now include "detailed" scans, which describes which loot is available and how valuable. You can also scan for monsters.
  • You can operate the teleporter from the Terminal.

Quality of Life Upgrades

  • Fixes for Centipede lag.
  • You can now hear walkie talkies when you aren't holding them.
  • You can now hold the scan button to constantly scan.
  • Scanning loot is a bit more informative. Ship total is seen outside of ship alongside inside.
  • You can now use "R" key for Walkie and "F" key for Flashlight.
  • Dedicated slots on the right of the screen for flashlight and radio.
  • Pinging things can be done with "Q"
  • You can look nearly all the way down.

Fun Updates

  • You can now push fellow crewmates using "E"
  • There's more emotes.
  • There's more suits.
  • You can spectate enemies when you die.

Mechanic Stuff

  • Allows players to join late.
  • Allows more than 4 people to join.
  • Checks for mod compatibility.

Enemy Lookup Guide

You can now use the terminal to see how many enemies there are and what type by typing the command "enem". This is somewhat broke with Brutal Company so use it at your own risk / with a grain of salt. They use the names in the code, so here's a quick reference guide:

  • Masked = The Masked (Masked Enemies, whether that be your friends or natually occurring)
  • Nutcracker = Nutcracker (Guy with shotgun and is very loud, can't miss him)
  • Hoarding Bug = Hoarding Bug (They take your things)
  • Crawler = Thumper (Two armed guy that charges at you)
  • Blob = Hygrodere (Big blob of something - can kill)
  • Spring = Coilhead (Weeping angels be like)
  • Centipede = Snare Flea (They drop on you from above)
  • Puffer = Spore Lizard (Dog lookin things, don't corner them and you'll be fine)
  • Flowerman = Bracken (World's worst chiropractor)
  • Jester = Jester (Don't wind his handle, he might like it)
  • Docile Locust Bees - Locust (The random harmless bugs flying around outside)
  • Manticoil - (Random birds that don't hurt you)
  • Bunker Spider = Bunker Spider (It's a spider. How do you forget that?)
  • Girl = Ghost Girl (She will haunt your dreams until you die or leav

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.

Dependencies

Install these first, or the mod will not work:
