LCRandomMoons
Mod allows you to travel the moons in random order keeping vanilla balance. The main issue with other "random route" mods is that they ignore moon costs, simply sending you to destinations for free. This breaks the original game experience.
This mod works differently. At the start of the game, 5 routes are generated:
(You can customize these cost ranges in the configuration. If you want, ranges may overlap)
All: Every moon in the game.
Free: All free moons.
Low: Moons costing 1–500 credits.
Mid: Moons costing 501–1500 credits.
High: Moons costing 1501–10000 credits.
Each route is assigned a cost equal to the average value of all moons in this route. When a player selects a route, average cost is deducted from their balance, and the ship travels to a random moon from the chosen route.
The mod also includes a "daily random moon" feature (disabled by default). When leaving a moon, the game will automatically reroute you to another moon from the same route, additional payment not required.
Terminal commands:
(Selection routes available only the host)
Syntax: rd
info:
help - display available commands
list - display a list all the moons by category
route - display selected route
routes:
all - select random moon from [all] route
free - select random moon from [free] route
low - select random moon from [low] route
mid - select random moon from [mid] route
high - select random moon from [high] route
Example: "rd mid" travels ship to a random moon from route "mid"
Should work with custom moons added via LethalLevelLoader
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
