Here's a little lesson in trickery:
Step 1: Have a lad propose a funny
Step 2: Find gud remix because we quirky like that
Step 3: Crop that shi to a nice loop and add A LOT of reverb for the far version inside the dungeon
Step 4: Hear everyone capable of using their ears moan at you in disappointment
Step 5: Success!
So what dis do now?
I didn't want to ruin the ✨immersion✨ and feel of the game so I decided to use this remix of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up".
Hopefully I've got the audio volume normalisation right. If not (or dependencies break), I'll update this gameplay enhancing masterpiece of a mod.
Oh, and to be compatible with other mods using the CustomSounds mod by Clementinise I have set the probability of this sound getting played to 50% (file name is IcecreamTruckV2-rickroll-50)
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
