Overview
- a mod to make playing hide and seek more streamlined
- whomever pulls the lever to start the lever will be assigned as the seeker
- all other players will be teleported into the facility as hiders
- the goal of the hiders is to stay alive until the day is up
- be careful of the seeker as the shovels will one shot you!
- all suits are unlocked by default
- days are faster but the more players you have in your lobby the longer days are
Seeker
- the seeker will have to wait in the ship at the start of the level allowing the hiders to hide
- after the delay is up they will have a shovel and flashlight near them they can pick up
- they will then be able to head into the facility and start looking for the other players
- seekers are slightly faster than the hiders to help prevent an infinite chase
- instead of the scan ability they will make the nearest player to them make a noise
Hider
- at the start of the level you will be teleported into the facility
- you will need to hide! you don't have long before the seeker comes looking for you
- you have to hide in the facility as you won't be able to leave
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
