About this mod Author’s original text
Generic weathers. Adds 4 weathers. Yeah.
If you'd like to support me, check out my ko-fi. I post a couple of teasers and leftover scrapped things that I don't think I posted elsewhere.
The weathers and things
Anomaly: Occasional bursts of being pulled into the sky.
Downpour: Occasional bursts of heavy rain and loud wind. If you played L4D2 think of hard rain.
Radiation: Replaces some scrap inside at random with irradiated variants, which have a higher base price, but decay over time.
Slimy: Entire moon is coated in slime.
Known Issues
Slimy
- If the moon is really really really really large it would have a visible end to the slime. Similar to foggy fog.
- Cosmetics and other random objects that shouldn't be on decal layer 2 (Quicksand layer) get the slimy overlay. This is an issue on them, not on my end. Built in Morecompany Cosmetics have this issue.
Contact or bug reports
Please report to me any issues or ideas or just any help in general. I am so ass at coding.
There are 3 ways of telling me something:
Github: (check the website of the mod you're viewing)
Discord (thread): it honestly could be named anything but my thread will likely have "generic" in its title. My thread is in the lethal company modding discord found here
Discord (me): generic_gmd

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
