Forge version of game
- You can use this mod to fake your game version for the purpose of rolling back a version (this mod doesn't change anything about the game except the game version, so it's recommended to use it for minor versions)
- useage:
The "version" section of the config file is of type string, which you can set to +1 or -1, which will add or subtract from the original game version.
Of course you can overwrite the game version by writing a number directly to it, but this is not supported because other mods such as MoreCompany will add 0x26DE to the game version to recognise that the target room is using MoreCompany, and overwriting it directly will cause these mods to error out.
- You can use this mod to forge your game version to achieve the purpose of rolling back the version (this mod will not change any content of the game except the game version, so it is recommended to be used within the scope of small versions)
- Usage:
The "version" section of the configuration file is of string type. You can set it to +1 or -1, which will add or subtract from the original game version.
Of course, you can also write numbers directly to overwrite the game version, but this is not supported because other mods such as MoreCompany will add 0x26DE to the game version to identify whether the target room uses MoreCompany. Direct overwriting will cause errors in these mods.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
