Exhausted Batteries
Author: Solo00n
Flexible, host-authoritative control over the battery of every item in Lethal Company: capacity, starting charge, the ship charging station, lightning, and flashlight dimming.

What it does
- Store-bought battery items arrive fully discharged.
- Change battery capacity with a global multiplier, per-item multipliers, or both (per-item wins over global).
- Per-item multipliers are auto-discovered into the config as you meet items in-game, including modded ones.
- The ship charging station gets a limited number of uses, shown as a counter in its hover text, e.g. Charge item: [E] [3].
- The charging-station counter is a single shared pool for the whole lobby, refreshed on take-off, with optional carry-over of unused charges and an optional explode-when-empty.
- Teleporters and the Signal Translator can be limited the same way: the regular Teleporter, the Inverse Teleporter and signal transmissions each get their own shared pool and counter.
- Lightning can charge items it strikes; a bolt intercepted by the ship's lightning rod can add a charge to the station.
- Flashlights dim as their battery drains (optional).
- Russian localization, auto-detected alongside RTLC.
How it works
Capacity is scaled through the item's run-time (batteryUsage), and the starting charge is set on spawn. The charging-station limit, the take-off refresh, lightning-to-items, lightning-to-the-ship (via the roof lightning rod / ship power surge), and flashlight dimming each hook a single game method. There is no batteryCharge field in Lethal Company: charge lives in insertedBattery (0..1) and the "capacity" is the item's run-time, which the multiplier scales.
Multiplayer (host-authoritative)
On connect, clients receive the host's config over the network and only apply effects while synced, or while they are the host. A client cannot give itself an advantage in someone else's lobby. The charging-station counter is one shared, host-owned pool, so co-op players draw from the same charges. Only Unity Netcode named messages are used, never a custom NetworkObject, so it cannot crash lobbies. Language and VerboseLogging stay local. Everyone should install the mod; the host's config is what the whole lobby plays with.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
