Disaster Company
Disaster Company is an extensive modpack adding store items, enemies, moons, interiors, cosmetics, scrap and many QoL features into the game. Everything is personally reconfigured by me to make every moon (both modded and vanilla!) have a baseline difficulty of about vanilla Rend to Titan (A-S+ Tier), while making several moons even more difficult, but also more rewarding with higher scrap amount and scrap value (SS Tier, SSS Tier and X Tier). In this organized, yet rather chaotic modpack not only you are against the world, but the world's many inhabitants and objects are against each other as well. Many entities are going to fight or damage each other, while most are also capable of activating and dying to turrets, landmines or boombas! The modpack supports and rewards two different types of playstyles: looting scrap or hunting enemies for profit - therefore the Spore Lizard, Small Spore Lizard and Barber are all killable (they have 10 - 8 - 15 HP). The fog's visuals have been improved, you can sell most enemies you kill, and you can even come across dice if you'd like to try your chances. Thanks to my configuration, not only modded moons contain an extensive amount of scrap, modded entities and interiors that suit the moon's atmosphere, but vanilla moons also have their own personality and twists now.
Key Features:
- Abundance of new Moons, Entities, Scrap and Interiors.
- Tons of ship and cruiser upgrades to unlock, providing a long gameplay.
- Occasionally rather chaotic game experience that rewards skill & game sense.
- Carefully and thoroughly configured moons to enhance vanilla moons and organize & balance the modded content.
Key Mods:
- Wesley's Moons, Moons of Otherworldy Oddity, Unreal Interiors + BetterFog to make visibility better.
- Lategame & Cruiser Upgrades.
- Sellbodies, Diversity, Huntdown.
Nightmare's Wake special:
- Light Eater & Bracken rework to darken the interior.
- Full Darkness & More flashlight variants to fight against the darkness.
- Slightly increased chance of routing to horror-themed moons with special enemies.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
