Diomedes (Open Beta)
Go head-to-head against your opponents in Knockout, Race and Bingo!

- GitHub (Diomedes itself is not avaliable, but related projects are!)

Diomedes requries connection to our external server in order to function and your access can be restricted (read our guidelines above!). When you first use the mod you'll be prompted in your browser to authenticate with Discord, which is how we identify your account; You don't have to join our discord (but you should).
Diomedes is also in Open Beta, so expect things to break a lot! Specifically while in a match try not to close the game, it is possible to rejoin if you aren't the "Captain" but this comes with caveats.
❤️ Thanks for trying out the mod and have fun!
Knockout
Be the last crew standing!
Random moons are generated for the quota and everyone plays the day at the same time!
After the 3 days of the quota are up, sell all your scrap at the company (most scrap is deleted if you don't sell it!) and everyone is ranked depending on how much they sold. The crews who sold the least that quota (default 50%) will lose a life (default 3 lives) and a new quota starts until 1 crew is left!
Race
Be the first crew to complete the target quota!
By default crews will race to complete the 3rd quota. Each quota has it's moons, weathers and seeds already picked out. Quota scaling is simplified by default starting at 400 and increasing by 100.
Sell everything as quickly as possible! You can route to the company anytime and you don't get any more money or keep unsold scrap after the quota (e.g selling $500 when the quota is only $400 means you lose $100). If you don't meet the quota, or think you could've done better on previous days you can restart the current quota from the beginning and try it again, the seeds don't change!
Daily Race
Daily race resets at UTC midnight everyday and instead of playing against opponents live, your times are put on the daily race leaderboard. You can play the daily race with up to 4 players (quota scaling is higher with more players).
Custom Moons in Race and Knockout
Custom moons are supported for race and knockout but they need to be manually enabled. In a lobby under Settings enable Generate Locally.
By default this uses DawnLib tags to inform the generator, so you'll need to use LunarConfig to apply the following tags (moon creators using dawnlib can also manually apply these if they like):
diomedes:earlygame, diomedes:midgame, diomedes:lategame, diomedes:moon_gen_exclude
(custom weathers aren't currently supported by the default generator)
Or if you know how to code the methods DiomedesClientAPI.RegisterKnockoutGenerator and DiomedesClientAPI.RegisterRaceGenerator are avaliable when you reference me.loaforc.diomedes.dll and Diomedes.API.dll (API will be unstable due to being in open beta)
Bingo
Be the first to complete 13 squares, locking out your opponent.
Bingo is still a heavy work-in-progress and right now only supports 2 teams.
A 5x5 grid of challenges is randomly generated at the beginning of the match, you can view them by looking in the pause menu.
Bingo follows lockout rules, so once a challenge is completed by one team, it can't be completed by the other. Other than being a competition to complete the challenges, no other gameplay rules are changed.
Custom Bingo Challenges
Unlike Race/Knockout bingo challenges are always defined by the client. The method DiomedesClientAPI.DefineBingoChallenge is the main method to call when defining bingo challenges and follows the standard format of DawnLib definition methods. The factory parameter should always return a new instance of a class that derives BingoChallenge
A BingoChallengeGroup helps inform the board generator of better rules to make sure the board is filled with a variety of challenges and difficulties (but right now it goes unused lol)
Diomedes.ExtraChallenge
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
