Defibrillator

Adds a Defibrillator to the ship store. Stand next to a dead teammate's body, shock them, and they get back up right where they fell, mid-round.

How it works

  • Buy it from the terminal: buy defibrillator (250 credits by default).
  • Hold it next to a teammate's body and press LMB. It charges for 1.5 seconds, then zaps.
  • The revived player comes back with 50 HP, inside or outside the facility.
  • A full battery gives 3 shocks. Recharge it at the ship's charging station.
  • The zap is loud, so nearby monsters can hear it.
  • You can't revive a body someone is carrying, or a player who died without leaving a body.

Config

Edit markj.defibrillator.cfg (or use your mod manager's config editor):

| Setting | Default | What it does |

|---|---|---|

| Price | 250 | Store price in credits |

| ShocksPerBattery | 3 | Revives per full battery |

| ReviveHealth | 50 | HP after being revived |

| Range | 2.5 | How close you need to be to the body (metres) |

| ChargeUpTime | 1.5 | Seconds before the shock fires |

| WeightLbs | 12 | Item weight |

Multiplayer

Everyone in the lobby needs this mod, with the same Price setting.

Bugs

If a revive looks wrong, check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for lines mentioning Defibrillator and include them in your report.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
