Controller Terminal Keyboard
An essential quality-of-life mod for Lethal Company that adds a fully functional on-screen virtual keyboard to the Terminal specifically designed for Controller / Gamepad players.
Features
- Virtual On-Screen Keyboard: Pops up automatically when a controller user accesses the terminal.
- Native Mod Support: Fully supports other terminal mods (like Lategame Upgrades). The keys you press simulate physical keyboard strokes so custom menus can pick them up effortlessly!
- D-Pad Scrolling: Scroll up and down the terminal logs smoothly using the D-Pad without needing to reach for your mouse.
Controls
- Left Stick: Navigate the keyboard grid.
- A Button (Xbox) / Cross (PS): Press the selected key.
- D-Pad Up/Down: Scroll the terminal screen up or down.
- ENT: Submits your command.
- ESC: Exits the terminal.
Installation
Use Mod Manager or r2modman or Gale to install automatically.
To install manually:
- Download the zip file.
- Extract the DLL into your Lethal Company/BepInEx/plugins folder.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
