Adds a Cancel button and Esc support so you can back out of a stuck server join without restarting the game.

CancelJoiningLobby
Adds a [ Cancel ] button and Esc support while Lethal Company is joining a server, so you can back out without waiting for the join to finish or restarting the game.
The problem
Lethal Company does not give you a way to cancel once a server join is already in progress. If a join stalls, you can be left waiting for it to fail or restarting the game just to get back to the server browser.
What it does
Cancel stays available while Lethal Company is:
- getting server information
- joining the Steam lobby
- contacting the server
- waiting for the server to answer
- finishing the join after approval
If you cancel, the mod restores the menu you came from and refreshes the server list when the join started there. Cancelling after server approval still performs the required disconnect and reset first, then restores that same menu state.
Controls
- Click [ Cancel ]
- Press Esc
Both controls are available while the joining loading screen is on-screen and cancellation is still safe.
What it does not change
- It does not bypass kicks, bans, version checks, or server approval.
- It does not change the host or server.
- Cancel stops being available when the joining loading screen closes or Lethal Company starts assigning your local player.
Multiplayer
- Client-side only.
- The host and other players do not need the mod.
Compatibility
- Built for Lethal Company v81.
- No configuration required.
Installation
Install with r2modman or Mod Manager, or place the DLL in BepInEx/plugins.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
