About this mod Author’s original text

Ben and Brandon Skins

Two custom player models for Lethal Company:

  • Colossus - a muscular powerhouse ready for a shift at the Company.
  • Tactical Operative - a geared-up operative with a tactical vest and equipment.

Install and play

  • Install BenAndBrandonSkins through Mod Manager or r2modman. Allow the manager to install its dependencies.
  • Launch the game using Modded.
  • Choose Colossus or Tactical Operative from the ship's suit rack.

The rack displays a hanging suit; the custom 3D character appears when worn. Everyone in your lobby should use the same version of this pack and the same suit mods to see matching characters.

Already using our earlier local ZIP? Close the game, uninstall only the locally imported BenAndBrandonSkins entry, then install this listing. Keep the dependencies installed and avoid having two copies of this pack enabled.

Dependencies

Installed automatically by the mod manager:

  • BepInExPack 5.4.2305
  • ModelReplacementAPI 2.4.20 by BunyaPineTree
  • More Suits 1.5.4 by x753

Unity and Blender are not required to play.

Seeing your character

Other players with this pack can see your equipped model. An optional third-person camera mod lets you see your own character; it is not included or required. With 3rdPerson by Verity, the default toggle is C, with the middle mouse button used to orbit.

Texture compatibility update

Version 1.0.3 prevents LethalSponge from treating the two models' different textures as duplicates. Everyone using this pack should update and fully restart the game to clear previously substituted textures. The existing artwork and model alignment are unchanged.

Notes and limitations

  • The materials have a glossy appearance in some lighting.
  • Hands follow the wrists; individual fingers are not animated in this version.
  • Colossus uses approximately 50,000 triangles and Tactical Operative 60,000, so these models are heavier than the standard player model.
  • The included!less-suits.txt disables the default example suits supplied with More Suits. Its configuration can be used to ignore this file if you want those suits too.
  • Both models have been loaded and equipped on Lethal Company v81. This is an early release; held-item alignment, ragdolls and compatibility with other cosmetic or animation mods may need further refinement.

Credits and AI disclosure

Models created with Meshy on paid plans and supplied by Ben and Brandon. The models were prepared with custom humanoid rigging, skin weights, polygon reduction and game integration using an AI-assisted development workflow.

Thanks to BunyaPineTree for ModelReplacementAPI and its SDK, x753 for More Suits, and the BepInEx contributors. These runtime dependencies are installed separately and are not bundled here.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
