About this mod Machine translation
Fixed proper Leave 4 Dead 2 support (thanks to help from the modeling community from some good sources), including facial animations, holding melee weapons correctly, showing melee weapons correctly (on the survivor's back), and trying to keep the shaky skeleton effects intact. We used version 0.8 of L4D1 as the version of L4D2. This module was originally abandoned around June 2009 (when Crash Course was first released).
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
