Luckily for you Louie, you can bring your Xbox to the island with this add-on. What started as a silly joke during a voice call has now turned into a real mod for Left 4 Dead 2. Enjoy throwing in a Series X game and watching it explode.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
