I did not create these portraits. These portraits were created by Valve, who own the copyright to the images. By subscribing to the workshop, your hud icon will change, but this only applies to L4D1 survivors. I know the quality isn't great, but I'm not sure how much the size of the original image should be scaled when I import it into VTFEdit.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
