Step 1. Convert music files to WAV here -

Change bit resolution: 16 bits

Change sample rate: 22050 Hz

Change audio channel: Stereo

Step 2. Replace one or more files here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\music\flu\jukebox

Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)

  1. Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
  2. Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
  3. The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
  4. A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.

In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
