Unused hint graphic unlocker
In the game files for L4D2, there are a bunch of unused hint graphics and hints that were removed from the final version of the game. With this mod installed, you will be able to fully see their transitions with each level!
Install:
Go to your workshop add-in folder directory.
The directory should look like this: common/Left 4dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop
Make sure GCFScape is installed. VPK needs to be turned on.
Find my mod (should be the workshop ID, it is 2105823209).
Open it and follow the readme.txt, it explains the rest.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
