You must subscribe to the Choose Your Skin (SYS) core mod for this mod to work properly

This modification modifies the shovel. It offers HD textures, HD custom blood textures, 3D damage models, and randomly assigns shovel handle colors. You can also choose colors using SYS Technology (slot 19).

Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)

  1. Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
  2. Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
  3. The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
  4. A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.

In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
