This mod replaces the hunting rifle with an M14 with custom sounds. It is a modification of the original mod by Doktor Haus, flippie and TOG. K1CHWA. It serves as a demo for the new "Select Skin (SYS)" add-on that allows simple "model" randomization. It works with Select Skin (SYS) technology [Slot 18], which allows you to randomize the color of your gun and even select your favorite loadout.
This includes:
3 different wood (log) colors
Loading with/without line of sight
Loading with/without bayonet
M14 replaces hunting rifle with custom sounds
3 colors, bayonet (on/off), sights (on/off)
The one you choose matches the one in your hand
SYS Compatible: Choose your own add-on from 9 available products
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
