Subscribe and enjoy HUD icons, if you are not comfortable or don't want to wait for all icons to load, write in the guide and I will make a pack of icons for you. I prohibit you from doing anything to the VPK files of my plugins yourself, i.e. extracting, changing, adding scripts, re-uploading to the studio or other sites, or changing the original name of the VPK.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
