About this mod Machine translation
Select Skin (SYS) is L4D2's randomization and skin selection engine. This powerful script runs all compatible mods online and you can find them in the collection here.
❕ Even if it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that you subscribe to the HUD Mod, at least initially to really see what SYS Options is capable of. A version compatible with Global Radar can also be found here.
mod️This mod is not compatible with the Vocalizer mod (for keybindings), although it is compatible with ion's vocalizer.
This mod adds the following features for users and modders:
- Better, more powerful randomization (RNG) for modders
-Reroll RNG key: when pressed you can randomize all compatible content again
-Select a skin: permanently select and lock a skin (30 slots to lock 30 different skins)
-RNG/SYS switcher: switch between all random looks and selected looks with just one key press
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
