1Go to library and click on l4d2
2Click mouse 2 and click Properties
3Click "Local Files" and then "Browse Local Files"
4 click left4dead2 folder and click addons click wokrshop and find my addons prefail in vpk
5 click on the vpk and extract the file in left 4 Dead 2>sdk_content>mapsrc> then extract library.vmf from the vpk
6 Launch l4d2 authoring tools>Hammer>File>Open click library.vmf and enjoy
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
