About this mod Machine translation
None of the level geometry, assets or sounds in this level are our original work. We've tweaked the street level for Survival game mode only, given it Night functionality, added distance drawing effects, and added minimal non-visual changes to aid gameplay. All designs are done by Valve.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 custom map (.vpk)
- Custom maps ship as .vpk files too: unzip and copy the .vpk into the left4dead2/addons folder.
- Launch the game and pick the map from the Add-on Campaigns list in the main menu.
- If it does not show up, load it from the console (enable it in options first) with: map <mapname> — the name is usually in the bundled readme.
- In multiplayer, the host and every player need the same map installed.
Keep map versions in sync for multiplayer; large maps take a while to load the first time.
