Sakamoto Ryuji voice pack (Ellis)

This mod replaces Ellis's 1,935 voice lines with Ryuji Sakamoto's English lines and 220 lines for The Passing dlc. All Persona 5 quotes used were found on YouTube, and all Persona 5 Dancing In Starlight quotes were recorded from my own personal copy of the game. The file has been edited using Audacity.

I try to replace as much dialogue as possible in a way that makes sense.

Installation instructions:

Subscribe to this plugin, start L4D2, load the plugin, and exit the application.

Open "2138764634.vpk" using GCFScape. (Located at: Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop)

Unzip both folders. The folder inside contains sound files

If you want to revert to the default sound, go to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice and create a backup of the Mechanic folder

Clear mechanic folder

Paste the sound file from the "ryuji sakamoto" folder to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\mechanic

For dlc audio, navigate to Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\mechanic

Make a backup folder where you can store Ellis' original audio if you ever want to get back to it.

Paste the sound files from the "ryaka sakamoto dlc 1" folder into Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\mechanic

Launch the game and open the console command. Enter the following command:

snd_rebuildaudiocache

Once completed, enter the command "quit".
