About this mod Machine translation
Replaces Rochelle with the female rebel from Half-Life 2. Including viewmodel and flexes.
Since the survivors lacked actual citizens, certainly not survivors in citizen costumes, I decided to take it upon myself; it was not an easy task, and while it was easy to attach the parts to make the survivor model functional, it was not easy to make the model perfect; there was an Alyx that was too tall, and then the only drawback with HL2 sized models was that they had lower than normal upper bodies, resulting in long necks. The proportion trick is difficult to do the right way, so I decided to leave it alone. Unless I redo that model. Including those hands that were somehow wrong.
This was also the first time I really focused my model editing efforts outside of zombies. Well, expected zombies come in different proportions, but that one was cursed because people really got into it which I despise.
Of course, this is also part of a project to replace survivors with citizens, as one might hope. I'll do it later, but only if there's demand. and other things that make it a lower than average priority. Just don't expect them to have perfect necks, if I can implement it in a multiplayer friendly way.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
