About this mod Machine translation
Replaced most of the non-unique music in the game with 80s style synth/pop music in Saferoom.
To stop cutting out sounds you must enter (after your mod has finished loading):
snd_rebuildaudiocache
in the console. This may take anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 minutes, depending on your computer and the other sound modules you have loaded. Once completed, enter exit in the console.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
