HK G28E3 Patrol from Call of Duty: Ghosts
The G28 is the designated marksman version of the HK 417, adopted by the Bundeswehr. The 417 is a battle rifle version of the HK 416 assault rifle, which itself is a German take on the M16 design. It ended up being successful enough to become the go-to rifle in the majority of NATO militaries, and some models are even used by the Russian Alpha Group.
Replaces the "Military Sniper Rifle" (model only)
What's up, everyone? (let me know in the comments) Here's my first mod made on the new PC! You know - Windows 10, a videocard that doesn't suck, and an SSD allowing for ridiculously fast loading times. At least I've been able to replay CoD: Ghosts on max graphics and enjoy the game's models without them being blurry. The problem with the Ghosts models is the fabled fish AI Sub-D technology, meaning that they look smooth in-game but the exported models have parts that are octagonal, hexagonal, or even square. Mostly the barrels, scopes, and other tubular structures; no more than 20% of a gun. And most of the guns have none of that, making one wonder why they even bothered. The parts found on the world models can be smoother because of that, but they're mostly low poly in general. So, by combining the best of both worlds and smoothing some parts myself, I managed to make a tolerable hybrid. Now, if you hate the KF2 animations, you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck, and I'm ♥♥♥♥ out of animations. This time I had to improvise with the deploy animation unless I wanted some nasty scope clipping. Originally the model had 22 rounds in the translucent magazine, which is terribly wrong because it has 24 in Ghosts multiplayer.

Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
