Small gem, peridot!
Before I get into the details, this model was made by the folks at acee. Go check out their stuff! [theacee.com]
Peridot uses Zoe's animation. She has facial animations, eye tracking, view models, HUD icons, and bile textures.
She is also another character that includes a lod (level of detail) model. Therefore, her model will have reduced detail if you lower the graphics settings or move away from her. This is the second time I've done this as this Peridot has quite a few polygons. Don't worry, the source won't crash.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
