Replace little Jimmy Gibbs' car with a police car
During the early production of Dark Carnival, at the Parks press conference in 2009, the character of Little Jimmy Gibbs was not yet completed. Therefore, neither man had his car. In all the old footage of Parks speaking in '09, he has an exact model of a police car in his car.
This mod should only replace the Dark Carnival version of Gibbs' police car, not the Dead Center version. It does replace Gibbs' car, has correct collision detection and so on. The mod has no real drawbacks when it comes to online play; the only issue is the collision detection of cars. Still, it should remain a police car.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
