About this mod Machine translation
A personalized custom sounder that's easy to use.
Just make sure to select a character from the Character menu first.
This sounder fits the bottom row of keys ("z", "x", "c", "v", "b", "n", "m", "," and ".") (of course you can also use different keys) and it includes 5 universal menus for commands, answers, alarms, assistance, emergency calls and calling voice lines. It also includes four radial menus for specific character rows with switchable menus on both keys: simply select the center option to toggle between the two menus on the same key.
Finally, there's a character menu for choosing which character you're playing. This is required for character-specific lines, but also for alternate lines such as "Clear" and "Cover me" (L4D1 survivors have these lines, L4D2 survivors don't).
For a specific voice line, the first menu of "Specific Line 1" points more to the positive line, and the second menu points more to the negative line. For the "Specific row 2" menu, the first menu mentions other survivors and the second menu is a random row.
In summary, this means:
-45 voice lines per survivor;
- 32 specific voice lines for each survivor (256+ in total!);
-All voice lines above are working, valid for both L4D1 and L4D2 survivors;
- Fully compatible with the "Last Stop" update.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
