My first survivor mod. Thank you very much MrFunreal for providing me with the method to make the tutorial!
March 11, 2020: This Mod officially exited the Beta version and is now fully released! I'll come back later to update his blocking position and fix the weapons sticking out of his body.
This mod comes with a view and world model, cool quirks including functioning eyeballs, facial curvature, eyebrow and mouth movement, and his attachments (weapons, pills, medical tools, melee combat, etc.) all scattered between the spikes of his shell.
It took me a whole month (assuming I only had 3 free days a week) since I had to learn some troubleshooting methods. Now that I have these points I can certainly do better with more of these and do them every 2 to 3 weeks.
I still need to figure out how to adjust Morton's eyelids. I'll be back to working on this mod.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
