About this mod Machine translation
The goal of World War II was to replace World War II ammunition boxes with modern howitzers. Although the US military no longer uses this type of wooden crates, I have done my best to make them look modern while still being consistent with the fictional world of L4D2.
Modern rations come in cardboard boxes, although crates are most common. Less common are a frag grenade case based on an antique grenade case of a similar type, and a rifle case that references the L4D2 legendary desert rifle (aka battle rifle) shipped home from the Middle East to rush armed forces against the infected.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
