About this mod Machine translation

Part 1 of my L4D3 plugin.

After downloading the VPK, you must move it (named 2177464475) into the Extras folder so that the Leaker and Survivors have the correct names.

illustrate:

  • Right click on L4D2's name in your steam library.
  • Left-click "Properties"
  • Left-click "Local Files"
  • Left-click "Browse Local Files"

5.Open "left4dead2"

  • Open "Add-ons"
  • Open "Workshop"
  • Search for “2177464475”
  • Copy the VPK file named "2177464475" instead of the image
  • Return to "Add-ons"
  • Paste “2177464475” into the folder.
  • As with any add-on with scripts, you must load listening, local or single player, for it to work properly.

(Listen in the console for the use of "map(x)")

(Local Click the "Local" option when creating the lobby)

(Single player simply click Single Player Mode in the main menu)

-For all new weapons, including the Silent AWP, Junk Sniper, Tommy Gun, and more, you must do one of the following:

Method 1: Download the CS:S Gun Unlocker add-on, there are many of them and some that should be used with this add-on.

Method 2: Download the management system and insert a file named "server.nut" in the "left4dead2/scripts/vscripts" folder. Then, open the file with a text editor and add the discussion named "Server.nut" to the file and save it.

Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 custom map (.vpk)

  1. Custom maps ship as .vpk files too: unzip and copy the .vpk into the left4dead2/addons folder.
  2. Launch the game and pick the map from the Add-on Campaigns list in the main menu.
  3. If it does not show up, load it from the console (enable it in options first) with: map <mapname> — the name is usually in the bundled readme.
  4. In multiplayer, the host and every player need the same map installed.

Keep map versions in sync for multiplayer; large maps take a while to load the first time.
