About this mod Machine translation
Kalashnikov AKS-74U in steady stock starting from the second day of payday
The actual Soviet AKS-74U (S means "folded" and U means "shortened"; it always had a folding rack, otherwise the whole concept of compactness was effectively destroyed) had a side folding rack that honestly made the gun thicker when it was folded. It fills a rather strange niche, having a poor effective range for an assault rifle, while being arguably too large and powerful for a tank crew's PDW. This is perhaps the most useful counter-terrorism CQB scenario.
Replaced "submachine gun"
Whenever this gun is mistakenly named an "AK-74u" it means that the rifle does not have a folding stock, leading to this abominable result. Often misclassified as a submachine gun means it must be an Uzi compilation. This is also my training ground for RNG models, as I've learned that it doesn't integrate well with body groups. You can find a striped magazine cover, or more ♥♥♥♥ my friend Dr. Gordon Freeman suggested a "silly" version with a metallic magazine and a glossy cover. This animation makes the gun look really huge (25% bigger than it should be), so I don't think I'll be using it very often.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
