I just converted an intro video I found on youtube into a .bik file so you don't have to, this is my first time modifying this
Be sure to back up files before replacing them
P.S. You can't just subscribe and just finish without opening the .VPK file in the l4d2 directory, unzip the .bik file and put it in its own directory.
P.P.S To open a vpk file you need Nem's tool GCFScape or valve's own vpk.exe (located in the bin file).
If you are using GCFScape, it works similar to WinRar, but if you are using valve's vpk.exe, you need to drag the vpk into the .exe file, and then the .exe will extract the entire vpk into a folder
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
