About this mod Machine translation
A simple module that replaces the firing sound of the theme AK47 with the beautiful and thick firing sound of the MP5 from the black tabletop. I came up with this idea after playing around with a nice HK33 model that added a great weapon but didn't include any firing sounds. The mod goes together fine, but technically any G3 style weapon should only be suitable for great sound. This may conflict with some sound modes (like my two footsteps mode), but everything works fine and conflicts can be safely ignored.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
