About this mod Machine translation
This add-on replaces scripts (changes item statistics in the game)! It only works on servers that have this script enabled (i.e. your own or your friend's host). This also means that if the server enforces consistency, you may get kicked out. If you have problems joining the server, please disable this mode and restart the game.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
