About this mod Machine translation
This plugin is an edited version of EEEN's L4D2-Beta style main menu mod, with the Beta style header logo removed. This is because I like the menu layout that reminds me of L4D1, but wanted to make it compatible with a mod that gets rid of the title logo, so here we go!
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
