One of my news outlets! This model will replace the old flat texture with a new HD (2k) version drawn by Sasha Dulles (me). (Took 3 hours to do it)
Notice! Before you install this plugin-
-Only the first screenshot shows the old texture, the others are modulated.
These textures are really 2k, but I made the whole texture 2k, which is a bit pixelated in some parts, but better than before anyway! The old original version was very bad and pixelated, I completely remade it from scratch and now those textures are in (2048x4096) they look much better than before. If you think it's not enough for you I can't help and make them better, I'd like to remake them but I don't want to spend another 10 hours so enjoy what we got now.
p.s- better textures and make your game smash. This is the biggest game you can run.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 custom map (.vpk)
- Custom maps ship as .vpk files too: unzip and copy the .vpk into the left4dead2/addons folder.
- Launch the game and pick the map from the Add-on Campaigns list in the main menu.
- If it does not show up, load it from the console (enable it in options first) with: map <mapname> — the name is usually in the bundled readme.
- In multiplayer, the host and every player need the same map installed.
Keep map versions in sync for multiplayer; large maps take a while to load the first time.
