You don't subscribe to this mod just to make them work, you have to know how to decompile vpk's
If you place the file in the left4dead2 directory under common
You can find it under Program Files (x86)
For example, mine is under acer (c:)—>Program Files (x86)>steam->steamapps>common->left 4 dead 2
Once you add it there it should ask you to replace gameinfo, just replace it and continue
Doing this will also keep these models from conflicting with other custom models and you will always have these fixes when using the default models
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 addon (.vpk)
- Nearly all Left 4 Dead 2 custom content ships as .vpk files: unzip and copy the .vpk into the game's left4dead2/addons folder.
- Create the addons folder if it does not exist; content loads automatically on launch.
- The in-game Addons menu lets you review, enable and disable what is installed.
- A few packs or tools do not follow the .vpk flow — follow the bundled readme.
In multiplayer, the host and players need the same addons installed.
