About this mod Machine translation
This is the Death Scream campaign and fodder survival map for L4D2. Special thanks to Soup Toaster and Rabbi Monkey (Spencer) for giving us permission to port, Trunten (Ryan) for keeping this project alive, Ernst aka 'Doc' Vienna for calling on the author to fix the last crash bug, Alexander for the thumbnails and custom textures for TopHATTwaffle. 357 for additional fixes.
Install & use Install: Left 4 Dead 2 custom map (.vpk)
- Custom maps ship as .vpk files too: unzip and copy the .vpk into the left4dead2/addons folder.
- Launch the game and pick the map from the Add-on Campaigns list in the main menu.
- If it does not show up, load it from the console (enable it in options first) with: map <mapname> — the name is usually in the bundled readme.
- In multiplayer, the host and every player need the same map installed.
Keep map versions in sync for multiplayer; large maps take a while to load the first time.
